This is a rare 4WD Super GL Luxury Hiace. It comes with dual rear doors, it’s a 5 seater with a rear bed kit / camping bed for two. This luxury version is excellent off road and comes standard with 2 inches of extra ground clearance over a standard Hiace. It comes with the latest 2.8 litre turbo diesel engine which has more power, more torque and better fuel economy than the previous 3.0 litre engine. The Super GL is considered by Japanese people to be the “Rolls Royce” of Hiaces…. It’s the top model and comes with many luxury features never seen on an Australian delivered Hiace. This one is fully lined and insulated inside from front to rear so it’s quieter, warmer in the cold and cooler in the heat. It comes with a rear heater and rear air conditioner. The suspension spring rates are set for a softer ride than the commercial Hiaces - so these Super GLs have a noticeably softer smoother ride over bumpy roads. The seating is to a higher specification and each front seat has more leg room, greater back support and more adjustability than on a basic DX spec Hiace - this can make a huge difference especially for taller occupants and drivers.
